We Love Children!
Children are welcome in the sanctuary at Sycamore Tree. They’ll bother you more than they bother the pastor! To help you we offer a few aids:
Quiet Bags – Near the rear of the sanctuary, you’ll find a tree with blue bags. Each one has a coloring book, crayons, and other quiet toys for children
Sunday School – We have two classes for children on Sunday Morning at 10 AM. Both classes meet downstairs and will soon have newly renovated rooms. Currently, the children are studying The Bible Meets Potato Chip Science where a quick science experiment ties into a lesson from scripture.
Children’s Church – Children’s Church is in pause mode right now. We’ll update this page when it begins again. Children’s Church usually happens during the sermon time after we’re done singing. One of our screened leaders will take kids age four through fourth grade downstairs to have their own learning time. To keep our leaders from missing the sermon too many Sundays a month, we offer this about every other Sunday. You’ll see the kids leaving, and the leader will invite your child to join.
Plus in the Summer, we offer things like a kids’ music day camp, workout like a champ day camp, and vacation Bible school. Watch the calendar for details.
