Pastor Steve and Lynne
Wow! We need to get a new photo! Pastor Steve has served Sycamore Tree since its inception. But he’s done a lot more than just preach. He started out in the Air Force, has worked at Weirton Steel, managed a restaurant, has a CDL, and loves to build. But more than that he loves to help people discover the abundant life they can have when they get to know Christ.
Lynne leads worship and small groups at Sycamore Tree. When she’s not working at the church, she’s writing books and doing some life coaching. She and Pastor Steve have been together for more than forty years, long before they started following Christ. Be sure to introduce yourself when you stop in!
Jackie Johnston
Jackie has been the Administrative Assistant at Sycamore Tree since 2020. She’s only there a few hours a week, but if you leave a message on the answering machine, she’ll give you a call back. She’s one of our Children’s Church leaders and loves telling folks about Jesus. Jackie has fun no matter where she goes.
Sylvia Williams
Sylvia is our Youth Leader. She also leads a Sunday Morning children’s class and is part of our Praise Team. An eighth grade math teacher, she loves helping people learn, so it’s fun to be in a small group with her!
